Project Description: In this workshop, participants will create a 5”x7” collage (framed with an 8x10 mat) that evokes a tiny memory. Learn how to combine images in a dynamic approach and create a cohesive image. We will explore the use of symbolism as a form of communication and further explore the effect composition has on conveying messages. We will use vintage photographs as our point of inspiration.

Take Away: A finished 5"x7" collaged artwork with an 8"x10" mat for easy framing.

Durations: 2.5 - 3hrs

Structure of the workshop: This workshop is a balance between formal instruction and time to catch-up with friends. Short composition demonstration and collage technique with direct practice. In addition to collaging techniques, we will share our completed work and discuss the memory it evokes.
