​Explore a playful blend of mixed media techniques in this creative, process-driven workshop. Participants experiment with guided prompts, mark-making, texture, and layered materials before developing two 9"x12" canvases with a unified theme. After demonstrations, artists are encouraged to follow their instincts, embrace spontaneity, and create work that evolves naturally.

Project Description: In this workshop participants will be introduced to a variety of mixed media* techniques. After which we will begin a pair of 9"x12" canvasses with a unified design. The subject of our canvasses will evolve naturally after exploring a series of art prompts with different mediums and techniques.

Medium: Mixed Media and Acrylic on canvas  

Cost: $55pp

Take Away: A pair of 9"x12" canvasses. A list of mixed media techniques and art prompts to get you started independently.

Durations: 3hrs (extra time if needed)

Structure of the workshop: Mixed media techniques will be run in a step-by-step format. Instructor will demonstrate each step and participants will have the opportunity to try the technique. After a series of demonstrations and art prompts, participants will use lessons to create an independent work. Individual guidance will be provided.
